Orthodontics / Invisalign

Apart from the usual orthodontic procedures, which employ brackets (bands, arches) and which are intended for general corrective work and for use with younger people, NEW orthodontic corrections can be achieved by using practically invisible plastic splints, known as Invisalign.  The application spectrum ranges from simple to moderately complicated orthodontic problems (overcrowding, gaps in teeth, twisted teeth etc.).

The procedure is planned by computer.  The intended result is first analyzed together with the patient and modified according to his/her wishes.  The individually created splöints are changed every 14 days by the patient.  The dentist needs to carry out a check approximately every two months.  The treatment lasts between 6 and 15 months and is therefore shorter than conventional procedures using brackets.

The splints can be removed.  This means that you can eat without restrictions during the treatment and can maintain high standards of oral hygiene.  The Invisalign technique is virtually pain-free, protects your teeth and is very well accepted.  Persons between the ages of 15 and 85 can be treated using this technique.

Yet another advantage: you can also use your Invisalign splints to bleach your teeth

We will be glad to give you comprehensive advice on treatment with Invisalign.  Our practice is Invisalign platinum certified, which only a few dental practices employ in Switzerland.  You can find more information on the following website: www.invisalignpraxis.ch
